| WHO NEEDS A CLUB? |
Summer
2000 saw Wasted moving out of the club and spilling
onto the seafront to deliver 'Wasted on the Prom'.
This first outdoor event was a complete success as 5000 + revellers were treated
to a 7 hour session of Live Breaks & DJ sets culminating with the Lo Fidelity
Allstars.
The following year
went one step further and spawned the 3 day
Wasted Weekender, starring 40 DJ's and the UK debut of Phil Kieran, leading
the Guardian to suggest: "A Wasted Weekender
in Bognor is not as weird as it sounds. The sea front can look
especially interesting after a few pills, and with the
combined forces of future breaks speeding you on, God
knows what will happen" |
